Pain Management and Palliative Care Overview

Overview: This course is designed to review common pain syndrome, a comprehensive pain assessment and treatment for chronic pain. It will also review common medications used in pain management as well as the non-pharmacological treatment. The course will also discuss symptom management in palliative care and review relief of the burden of complex medical issues. It will also cover management of end of life care.
This activity will be submitted to the American Association of Nurse Practitioners for the approval of up to 10 contact hours of accredited education
