Pain Management: Explore the best practice management for acute, subacute and chronic pain.  This session will include the topics of, using both non-opioid and opioid pain management.  It will include content on 1. Best practices in prescribing opioids and controlled substances and 2. Geriatric Pharmacology: With the aging population in across the world, both with the baby boomers and the extended life expectancy, we are seeing more and more elderly patients in our practice.  This session will address the pharmacokinetics of aging process, screening tools for monitoring and prescribing mediations for the elderly, and identification and management of high-risk medications in the elderly.  This is a must have session for the prescriber. – Faculty: Sharon Momanyi, APRN, CNP
